I have completed the mold for the fiberglass rear bumper for a 71 GS/Skylark. I will be laying up the first bumper shortly and then do the test fitting. So a few questions that maybe someone can answer; 1) Are the rear lens buckets the same 70-72? I almost think they're different because the 70 bumper lens bucket mounting points on my 70 bumper look different from the 71 bumper that I used to make the mold. Of course I have 70 buckets and lens, but no 71's. 2) When I picked up the 71 bumper from a member he removed four small brackets that bolted to the tabs on the end of each opening for the lens/buckets. I wish I would have asked him if I could borrow them for mock up. 3) Looking at my 70 rear bumper, it has tabs that run side to side where as the 71 has tabs that run back to front. see pictures of the 71 bumper tabs. So all in all it appears I need to find some used bucket mounting brackets, buckets & lens for a 71 to buy or borrow. They really don't need to be in that great of shape. I just need to make sure they fit in the openings in the bumper. If some of the edges of the lens are missing, no big deal as long as I can get a good feeling that they'll line up correctly. Craig
