Anyone know were I can get a Vacuum Actuator for my 66 GS? Year One has it listed for $48.95, part number QT65. I tried NAPA but they have not moved this part in the Minneapolis werehouse in year and the part is not on hand. However, they said it is listed as available. Also, I need the Evaporator Core Seal. Year One lists one for 68-72 models. Is this the same? Do Chevy, Olds and Pontiac cars have the same set up? This is the seal between the heater box and the evaporator located in the right kick panel. Thanks Kevin :3gears:
The seal at the kick panel is not reproduced to my knowledge. I had to cut a section of trunk weaterstripping and stuff it between the AC box and the kick panel wall. I then covered the material and the area with black silicone sealant. It took car of the water leak and sealed everything off just fine. The factory seal was marginal even when it was new. The non-AC stuff is completely different, so don't bother ordering that.
