NE Picnic at Yardley's

Geez! Time's flying!

On May 5th (Cinco de Mayo) I'm hosting my annual Buick picnic! No need to own a Buick or be a member of any club or BB. If you like cars, COME ON BY!

I'm supplying theice, condiments, baked beans, Burgers, Dogs and Rolls.

We need garden salad, potato salad, chips, dip, soda pop, desserts, cups, plates and cutlery.

Bring your car (we used to say Buicks only, but I say if you have an old car or a kewl new car, BRING IT AND SHOW IT OFF!).

Hey Yards,

Today is a great day to think ahead to warmer and hopefully sunnier weather on May 5! My sump pump sounds tired with all the rain in the area (I hope no Buicks are parked near the Neshaminy Creek here in Bucks).

Since I'm close I guess it would make sense to contribute something perishable to the picnic. How about garden salad?

What's a good time to show up?

 

I'll be bringing some of my gourmet pretzels...Onion pretzels and a big apetite...lol Count me and most likely Dustin in.

Lots of fun..mine crapped out on the weekend for a bit,long enough to wreck the flooring. Looks like I am into a clean-up/reno.Not sure if I will be done by the picnic date. Keep you all posted.Later,Tony.

Start shoing up as early as you like. I can always use a hand getting organized before the bulk crowd arrives.

AL, bring all the soda you can. I'll have ice ready.

larissa, if you could somehow bring COLD soda, that'd be nice. Al's will be warm, and it'll take a couple of hours to chill.

So, here's what I have so far:

me - burgers, dogs, rolls, pickles and condiments
Big Vito - pretzels
Pete - water, chips and cookies
Larissa - soda
Al - soda
Doug - salad (please bring dressing too!)

still need:
a few cans of baked beans (I'll heat on the stove)
potato salad
plates
cups
plastic cutlery
dessert

PS - Its 60/40 for me showing as my nephew prolly wont be able to get extra tickets for his college graduation.
