Dyno Day- Buick gathering in N.E. Ohio.....???????

A personal friend of mine that owns Big Shot Dyno (www.bigshotdyno.com ) in Hudson Ohio, about 10 minutes north of Akron and about 25 minutes south of Cleveland, has offered his shop and services for a full day to just the Buick guys. If he can get at least 12 cars lined up, he'll clear his entire day for Buicks only. This is a new facility with a state of the art Dynojet dyno with a wide band o2 set up.

Their location is in a new complex with a concrete parking lot large enough to park at least 100 cars and a ton of space for trucks/trailers out back. This day could double as a show, cruise, get together, or whatever you would call it. This would be a great opportunity for the Buick guys to get together before winter and shoot the crap, check out the cars, and watch the dyno run all day.

Keith's offer is for 3 dyno pulls for $50 which includes printouts for each run. If he gets at least 12 cars. He'll clean his schedule for the entire day for his entire staff and do nothing but Buicks. That deal is hard to beat.

We are shooting for Saturday, November 13th so the fall air should be nice and cool.....:) Everyone is invited to come and watch, participate, or just stop in to say hi......

We need at least 12 commitments for dyno time to make it happen, so please e-mail me if you think you can make it.

In an attempt to get a few "heavy hitters", there will be awards for the highest horsepower, and for the highest torque readings for the day..........It probably won't be much, but will be ammunition for bragging rights!

    Please post your thoughts..........

    Thanks,

If the weather is decent and I don't need a trailer, I'd be interested in coming. By then I should have my electric water pump/fan setup on. I've always wondered how much mine had.

We did this at Conley's place for the Houston Buick Club. It was tons of fun. Nothing like watching several hundred horsepower being unleashed while the car is sitting tied down right in front of you.
    Highly recommended!

I do not wish this on anyone here but think it would look neat to see one so powerful it rips it self lose and launches through the doors.

    Hey Tim

What is the car count up to so far? I havn't had a chance to redo my fuel return line leek that I found at Quaker City event, but this might give me the incentive to get it done.
I have a house addition going on right now that has top priority.
    Please keep us posted.
