Do it, and yes, you have a death wish and you are a raving psycopath:grin:   , but what away to go:Brow: :Brow: .
i know of a guy(me) that is doing a 56 Anglia with a 455". dont see why our "Met" wouldnt be just as kool:TU: .i have learned though by talking to the altered boys that you have to really watch the steering. for some reason the short wheelbase cars get a little squirrely, lol. have fun........................... later....................
Nice twist on the Anglia Dave. As far as the Met goes I say go for it. Would make a cool ride that will amke a lot of people soil their shorts.:beer
Eric, i am in the parts gathering stages now, but i am getting there. as a rule i gotta be different so why not an Anglia. i bought the car from an older gentlemen buddy of mine for ,really, $15 . ALL steel and all original.eventually i will get it done but for now it is sitting tucked away until i get to it. as of late i have been thinking maybe a 350" for it ???. a 455 would be just kinda following the rest of the crowd. besides how much would it really take to make a car this small go quick? when i went to get the car it had 4 flat tires on it,and my jack broke. so what do you do??? you pick up the car and hold it while your buddy slides a jack stand under it. i aint a very big guy but i swear, 2 guys could have loaded the car on a car trailor without ramps. easy way to fast......get light ! gotta be different................... later................................
OK, as wild as this idea is......it's been done, I have an old magizine article somewhere that has a 455 powered metro featured....very cool!
