NASCAR Blown engines and that little PROLong sticker on the side of the car???

Is it me am or I just seeing things? I know they dont let them use fancy additives during the races but cant the builder treat the block and engine however they want during the build???

The FTC was trying to get them off the air a while ago. Basically saying it makes bearing wear faster and its mostly mineral oil.

Only 1 snake oil out there has ever proven it self too me [twice] as genuine, DURALub.

    1 time

Heading home from BG is my 68 Ford Galaxy 500
    [302 2bb, would pass 80s 5.0 sticks when they hit 2nd]

I lost all my water and fan belt right at the 75-split heading towards Toledo. I drove from there all the way home in Northwood and the valves/rockers only ticked a little if I did under 35mph. All of my friend swore that I blew the motor, that it would never run right again. I really didnt care I was just gonna get home. Let it sit for an hr or so and it started right up and ran smooth.

After the second bottle of DURAlub it ran so smooth. I got the car with 68,000 original miles for $495.00 The idiot at the shady used car lots had no idea that it needed lead additive in the gas or it will smoke.

[I ended up trading the Ford for a 9.5 sec Kaw 750 tripple stretched drag bike and 2-3 seasons worth of parts. I ran it on the streets for a few years on a 500 title. Blew it up a few times and sold it for $900. Did I mention I sold an oil leaking pinto that I paid $185 for,
sold it for $400, added $95 and got that Ford. Almost bought a 72+ OLDs 455 that day but it was rough.]
