I have a 68 Electra Convertible. It's an awsome car!!! Last night at a car show, a guy told me he thinks the engine (430 4-bbl origional engine) is a nailhead. Anybody out there to tell me about this, I'm not sure what a nail head is I guess. I'll admit it now, I love cars an can do basics, but this one is lost on me!!o No: ou:
a nailhead is pre 66 motors. they date back into the 50's as well. no your motor is not a nailhead. a nailhead has vakve covers that bolts down through the top of the valve cover as well and not the sides like your 430. the picture is a 65 401 nailhaed
