Anyone know of a place to get a good set of plug wires for a '65 GS nailhead engine that have the correct boots on the plug end that seal off the whole plug hole? I remember the thread about the one CARS inc. selling being junk. Year one has the correct date coded wires listed for a '66 GS, but don't have a listing for the '65. Anyone know where I can get a set of the correct date coded packard wires for a '65 GS or as a last resort a set of boots I can put on an aftermarket set of wires from the parts store?
I see the NOS boots for sale on ebay every few months, and they usually don't go for much. The NOS wires usually go for about 60.00 a set, and finding date coded ones for your car will be tough. I think a set of plain black modern 8mm with the NOS boots would be a nice way to fool the eye, but not the engine. Dan
