I am looking for a few high-quality photos of late nailheads with the factory dual quads, air cleaner installed, and with the factory finned valve covers. The perfect photos would be of an engine without a/c or PS pump. I need top, front, and both sides. A 3/4 view of each side would be nice; even a bottom photo would help. The engine really cannot be installed in a car except for the top, and perhaps bottom photos. The engine needs to have either the factory exhaust manifolds or really good looking Chrome headers installed. I can use photos of different engines. For instance, if you have a good photo of a 401 single 4 bbl with no ps, a/c, or finned valve covers, I could still use the front and side photos to show what the engine would look like without the ps and a/c pumps.
The reason for all this is that I have found an artist who can do unbelievably high quality paintings of machinery. I would like to commission a painting of the king of the nailheads. If I can afford this, there will be prints available. Disclosure: They will not be cheap. I do not expect to make any money on this, and there will be no copyright violations, so a magazine photo would be OK. I am not sure that I can get the resolution I need through e-mail, so I may have to ask you for snail-mail copies. I will reimburse you for for postage etc. if necessary. We'll try e-mail first. If I can get the photos, I will contact the artist to talk $$. When I have some numbers, I may solicit solid orders. I suspect that the number of prints sold will greatly affect price.
    Sorry for the length.
