Hi im having a engine cradel built for my 425 nailhead question ~ I'm pretty sure not all nailhead motors are the same. can someone give me the breakdown? Which ones are the same ? i appreciate all replies!! Brian
The 401-425 has the bosses for the mounts at the front of the block. If the engine was to be installed in a Skylark GS, there were adapter plates to move the rubber mounts to the center of the block. I'm not sure of the earlier blocks, but I'll guess they are the same as the later ones.
