droooooooooooooooooooooooooool...... Nicely optioned car! Did you "make" it that way, or did it come from the factory with all the options?
That is how Buick made it! This car is as Buick made it- One of the only options it does not have is POSI! Sounds familiar, eh? I can fix that. 3.42 on the shelf waiting. (Thanks Topcat) It is especially cool that the car was in Hemmings-and the phone number was local to me!-Only had to drive 3 miles up Galbraith Rd. to get it home!
Yes, it looks TOO good to even fire it up!....Just put it in your living room with a glass table-top on it! What camera are you using? That is a very nice pic!
Judd-beyond the green tape! Just called Carmen yesterday, he was working on my carbs. Shipping today. The air cleaner had to be sent back to the chome shop-they dented one of the intake horns. The air cleaner top is perfect. Have the "SUPER WILDCAT" decal ready. hmmmmmmmm. ar ar. must make motor sounds... Have a Sony 2.1 megapixel, a couple years old. It is great as long as I can hold it steady-just like a real camera!
Judd, did you see the chrome plated nailhead 4-barrel intake on e(vil)bay? Search nailhead intake. Would go well with your water pipe crossover. More chrome
Ted Thanks for the heads up on intake but mine is a 322" and intake wont fit. I'm going for 50's look with 3 deuces like this 55 from Car Craft. Currently have Isky cam and kit and will run high compression Roadmaster pistons cut to clear extra valve lift.
Specialwagon65 Yes I plan on rebuilding the trans out of my parts car and pull original motor and trans to store in stock condition I'll reinstall two barrel and sell 4 barrel set up. It is a dual exhaust car with glass packs I figure a little rumble and chrome will be nice. The chrome shop called today and my valley pan is done I can't wait to see it! Judd
WOW!!!!! Hey, Ted......Wow what a beautiful job.....I'd love to see your stable of hosses sometime....Ed
'55 Buicks! Well, actually,Judd. She is originally a white roof, turquoise body car. And the hubcaps are not yet installed in that shot. I'm gonna run Olds Fiesta style tri-bar "flipper" caps on it, but I really want a set of original style wire wheels for it. I'm thinking of going with a white roof, medium green metallic body above the side spear, and dark green below the spear. It is going to be a mostly stock looking car, but with A/C added. Just plan on havin' fun with it. Is that your purple '55? I like it!--Zach:grin:
