    Mike, so the cost for the cam and grinding is $474? What is the cost for the roller lifters?

    Are you all going to be selling these for the for-seeable future? I'd like to get one at some point, but I don't have any immeadiate plans to do a cam swap.

    Yes. The roller lifters are currently $495. Yes they are in stock and for sale.

    What kind of lead time would I be looking at from the time of ordering the cam and lifters?

    Interesting to say the least!!

    Couple questions?

    1-Who's lifters?

    2-Captured link bars or removable?

    2A-Who's springs, dimensions, what (installed) heights, what spring rates??

    3-What retainers & locks (10* or 7*'s)?

    4-Cast or steel cam, can't tell from photo, no "plating" between lobes?

    5-What length (approx.) & diameter pushrods?

    6-What cam gear (appears to be the "Everwear" deal) and what dist gear?

    I can only compare the spring requirements to the Chev's at the moment, but it takes a 375#/420# rate on these to "control" the added weight of the lifters, etc! Having a very limited area with the "Nail" spring section on the heads this may prove even more interesting??

    (Add) I have used only a single "Everwear" geared cam to date and it caused me some grief! Comp Cams doesn't appear to use them as of today!

    P.S. I take it with the response time here there may be some issues still being resolved with these components, the ones on the head side??

    1. *Made for us by Morel. Working on the price, it will come down.
    2. *Captured.
    3. *Moly retainer TA1449 or 1450, TA1434 10' locks.
    4. *Steel, 1050 material, induction hardened, that's why you see no copper between the lobes.
    5. *Not sure yet, have not got one back from the cam grinder to mock up.
    6. *These cores are made out of the same material that Ford is using for there hyd rollers today. Distributor gear - stock. We will also be offering a cam bumper to set cam end play.

    Will the Morel's act as a "standard" hydraulic lifter function, 1/2 turn (nom.) down, or will they act as an "anti-pump" deal with close to "zero" lash??

    Also, just need an answer to #2A above (spring dimensions)? This specific item is most important to me of all the above, as I haven't been able to get decent spring life with the ones in the marketplace presently and they're are not any large selections to choose from that fit the application all that well!

    The ones I've used to date, "duals", have gone "south" rather quickly in an 11+ second street/strip ride!!
