Maybe permanent as he's looking for a good home. :TU: One of my other pets is in the second picture, my little brother.
As a dog lover I got to say I couldn't imagine ever not having a dog, or in my case dogs. He looks like a real sweetie, is he a pound dog? Kinda looks like a lab, welsh corgy mix hehe.
My mom's boss's daughter got the dog (don't know where), then found out that she couldn't have a dog in her dorm room when she goes off to college so he's looking for a home now and we may have a little room. :TU: They say he's part basset hound, part german shepherd but he's more likely a basset hound/yellow lab mix. He's about 4 months old and he'll run to anyone that puts their hand down to his level. The cat's don't really care and our dog likes to sniff quite a bit but has played with him some but mostly she stays away from him if he's just wandering around. The weekend visit is pretty much to see how current pets (and a certain "I hate pets!" family member) takes to him.
That's what Dana & I both thought he was when we saw the picture. What a sweet face. Does he have a name? Beth
Looks like a good buddy to have around. I am getting ready to down size my Kennel full of Labs and I would say that is a Lab-Basset mix for sure. I hope that he doesn't howl !! Are you still coming thur KY? Which Route if you are. Like to meet up and see your car.
His name was "cletus" earlier today but it's leaning towards "chester" now. He hasn't howled...yet, but we haven't had him long enough to know for sure. All he can manage at the moment is an "urf urf" but it's loud enough.
Cody........buddy, you got to stop posting up pictures of that dog  Now Beth is convinced we need to find a dog just like Cletus or Chumly or whatever its name is uzzled: D. p He is quite fetching though......hehe get it,..... fetching
