My son in the driver's back seat with a bunch of his buddies posing and hamming it up! The young ladies are liking the converttible too! They are good bunch of young folks who are good friends and are part of our high school show choir. Though a little apprehensive I am thankful that he got to take the convertible to prom tonight. This is only the second time it has been driven since getting it back on the road a couple of weeks ago. Just wanted to share a happy moment for some fine, young Americans. Who knows, maybe some day they will own a classic Buick!
Nice looking bunch of kids and machine! Did the driver punch it for a few seconds, at least once? That's how addicts are made. :Brow:
SteeveeDee, I did not get a "rapid acceleration report" last night. smiles. Yes, if I had to guess I bet he hammered it a time or two! You are right, that's how we all got started loving that low end torque!!! Nothing pulls quite like a Buick!
That will make for awesome memories and pictures he will look at many times later in life. I let my son take my Skylark to prom a few weeks ago and his friends still mention it to me when they come over. Great job letting him take it, shows great trust and is nice to have someone interested in the old cars.
