Upon further inspection of the passenger quarter.... I see someone has "worked" on the body in the past

But the actual reason for this thread, wasn't to show off my greatest investment ever.... :pp

.....I was curious as to what kind of motor mounts these are?
Chevy would be my first guess?

UH, I have seen those before, they are r-105 quick release torque mounts.
I have seen them on ROCKET POWERED race cars, that is truly a Nights-O-Fire nastolgic drag coupe!!! SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!! :Brow:

Sweet Dave, that'll make the rocket engine installation easy since the mounts are already there. Night Under Fire here I come!

I won't even have to cut the floor out to make room... just one light push and it'll fall out.

    Rick,

Chevy mounts i think man not much doubt there. As for the car, WHAT A BOATLOAD of parts I see. Drop me a line when you get ''done'' with it, lol.

    Later..................

PS- ready to sell me that dust collecting, sitting in the shed, not doing anything yet, backhalf project yet ?? I can have the trailer hooked up in about 3 minutes, be on the road in 10.

Sorry BuckeyeBuicks, but I won't be saving this one.
The body is totally shot, the floors and trunk are all but non-existant, the frame looks like swiss cheese, the interior is long gone, and the drivetrain is MIA.
Not much to save but a cowl tag and a title, and I don't play those games. :(

LOL Dave  ... 2 things....
1- I saw a boatload of parts too.. Many of them will be going on my ragtop and my tubbed car, although I'm sure I'll have a few things to peddle in a month or two.
2- That dust collecting, sitting in the <s>shed</s> shop, not doing anything yet, backhalf project is only about 1 year from getting worked on again. I have a plan and I'm going to stick with it this time... no distractions. First, finish the Monza this winter, so I can sell it next summer. Next summer, race the Monza to show it off to potential buyers while I finish the 67 GS ragtop (I have 99% of the parts for it now), and finally, next winter I should be able to get back to the tubbed 67 with the money from the Monza sale. :TU:
Sounds good in theory anyways.... Hopefully it plays out like that.

You know I had to try one more time man................Love the plan, stick to it. All we need is a plan and its all good. When that list gets built with stuff for sale on it, drop me a copy.

    Later..............

    Rick,
I didn't really think you would try to bring that one back, just my warped sence of humor at work. Looks great for parts though, pretty typical of Ohio cars that I find down here in the hills. This car reminds me of a 65 GS post car that I drove over 200 miles with a trailor to buy from a guy that sent me pictures of a different car, turned out to be a 64 Skylark HT with a body and frame worse that this 67 you have. Parted his house with a hundred bucks of his money for his"mistake" Maddest I been for a long time, I think he somehow senced this from my cussing fit! Some times you get the gold mine, some times you get the shaft, right? As long as they are out there guys like you and I will keep hauling them in, my wife says its a termanal dis-order. Mike

    LOL Mike
The seller told me that this car was unsaveable. But ya never know right? I figured it was worth the trip. Even if the car was unsaveable as advertised, it still has some parts that I need/want.
This one was a 550 mile round trip for me. Luckily, I had business in his area (within about 2 miles of his place actually), so my employer paid for all the gas and 8 hours of my time. :Brow:
    :TU:

I think you're right, it <b>is</b> a terminal disorder. In the last 2 years, I've been to KY, IN, MI, NJ, & NY snatching up old Buicks and had another shipped up from FL. Gotta love my wife for putting up with my <s>disease</s> <s>addiction</s> disorder.
