I just got this car from a friend for a undisclosed favor to be determined it is a 1966 Skylark 2 door HT that was owned at one time by a local Buick guy who ran a succefull shop for a few years back in the late 80's. I had not seen this car in aprox 12 years, it had impacted something quite large damaging the front end. I have heard several stories but I do not know what happened to it. All I know is that aprox 1 year ago it was offered to me for FREE ( or a favor later on ) So I said sure :TU: I was trying to stall getting the ( damaged ) car I had not seen, in 12 years or so, until spring when i had more room to store it  Alas it showed up at my driveway last monday My son called and told me it arrived!! I asked if his mother was home and he said NO! I hurried home and placed the car in the garage ( in hopes she would not see it ) She has yet to find out hehe
The car has quite a local history to it and i plan to restore it to close to the car I remember it form the 80's with it's L88 hood and Stage 1 badged fenders kind of dumb by todays style but it is a part of our local car history from the late 70' and 80's. And at one point the fellow who owned this car had one of the quickest Buick's on the planet from what I remember

any or all facts are based on my 48 year old memory and can not be held against me in a court of law

    daward Measure twice, cut once.

Although somewhat Buick-sacrilidge, that hood is pretty cool :Brow:

I think you need to adjust that signature of yours... welcome to the 66 crowd :beer

There you go ED ( signature edited ) and i agree it looks kind of funny but it does have some class in a 70's way :Dou: hehe I will probaby install one of my 350 SBB TH350 combos in the spring and just drive it ... or I may sell it as it sits ... I have too many cars even for me !!!!

    Ken

I may even put a SBC th350 in it if i am just going to flog it :eek2: maybe some one had better talk me out of that :puzzled:

Man I had to do a double take on that one. That looks real similar to my heap when I first got it.Mine had a L88 scoop to same color but someone had removed all the side trim and filled the scoop holes in the fenders.Mine also had a grill but no front bumper.Just brought me back to the day
