I think it's beautiful. Personally I'm not much of a fan of rubber fuel hose and constant tension clamps on the engine, but I'm guessing this maybe the original setup. Seeing the filter bracket mounted makes me feel better about it, though. Again, the detail is fantastic. Devon
You got that look!!!!:TU: I'm with you there! The factory air cleaner sure hid a lot of Nailhead "beaut-ti-full-ness" that needs to come out, and the cool thing as this is mostly factory Buick parts! Erik
Super Look and a very nice job. Thanks for sharing your pictures, now I have a mission to come close to what you did. Rick
They are factory covers that I powder coated with extreme chrome powder along with the wire covers. Thanks Pat
OHHH! I didn't realize that you just stuck that tri shield in there. I thought they were some special brand etc.
Most definitely!! The standard has increased immensely. Now I've got another winter project.... Thanks..:TU: That of which will take copious amounts of :beers2: to accomplish.:Brow: Where did you get the wire covers?
I got them on ebay but had to sand them alot to get them ready for powder coating. $65.00 for the pair. The guy is still selling them. Thanks Pat
Here's the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HOT-...ptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories You will still need the adapter brackets sold here:http://cgi.ebay.com/Buick-nailhead-...r_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item20a63a3278
ahhh yes... These are sold by Russ Martin. Actually I think it is Paul Bowsher that makes them for him. They are both regulars on the Yahoo nailhead newsgroup. Russ knows his stuff and is another great Guru! http://www.nailheadbuick.com/
