Oh boy the engine was built in 85 with a KB high pressure oil pumpand in85 won me my first cicle track championship the next season i resized the rods, put in a set of KB forged 10.2 pistons(engine was never balanced)a crane camand won my next chamionship. Not bad for a $40 core motor at the local junk yard. the motor has not been apart since 86 and is due and because of this site it's going to be built right as long as my meger buget holds up.Oh did i mention that it's a 4spd trk at 4500 launches it leaves hard and straight, the ladder bars help there. There is allot of work to do on the trk but i have 1800 miles on it so the shake down is prttey much complete and the ricers don't even try when i bring the motor up in 1st gear as the exhaust note warns them to back off.2" home built headers and 3" to the rear.
