TA called today to say my aluminum heads are shipping late today or maybe tomorrow. So, true to form, I will have the engine back together, clean, repainted, in the clean repainted engine bucket, a full 48 hours before the heads show up. Constants are nice. Bad luck is comforting if you at least know it's coming.
No, no. I am rushing to finish. I am waiting on some parts I gaurantee that my heads will show up the day AFTER I put my old heads back on and tourque them, and drop the engine back in the car. 100% gaurantee that it will be twice the pain to put the heads on plus I'll need another set of intake and head gaskets ou:
