I would just like to once again drum it everyone's heads about using every safety precaution when working underneath one's car. I don't know the exact circumstances behind this accident but this past saturday my girlfriend's brother was working underneath his car when it fell on him. His little son came outside and saw his father pinned under the car and called 911 (also very important, children knowing to call 911 in an emergency). By the time help arrived he was unconsious and not breathing. Not knowing all the details, they got him to the hospital and on life support machine but test showed him to have major brain damage from lack of oxygen plus he was unable to breath on his own so the family had him removed from life support. He leaves behind 2 young boys, a baby daughter and a grown daughter. Also this will be the 3rd sibling my girlfriend has lost (one other brother before we met and her youngest sister) So if you guys can bless the families and becareful when you work on your cars. By the way the first time I met him he came out to check out my skylark and told me that he had the same car many years ago so he was a buick man too.

Very sad. I will keep this family in my prayers.

This is horrible. Any idea how or why the car fell on him? How sad and frightening to think of such an incidence.

My brother was involved in a serious worksite head injury accident that left him unresponsive and without oxygen for a period of time so I know what the family is going through.
