I just found out today (too late for the funeral) that my friend Leonard Price was hit and killed by a truck wed. night. Since everyone is being pulled in many directions now for Mardi Gras, many people were unaware of Leo's death. Leo was driving N. towards Slidell to meet family for the parade. He developed engine trouble and pulled over to a small shoulder. When he opened his door a semi hit the door, puling and sucking him under the wheels. He was carried several hundred feet. some friends just returned from placing flowers at the site. I had to run there and get some of the women 'cause there was alot of gore still present. He was a good guy, a good dart player, friend and family man. I feel bad for not knowing about today and paying my respects to the family, but please keep them in your thoughts . Thanks guys,
May God rest his soul. Hopefully, he never knew what hit him. My prayers for the family and loved ones left with a hole in their heart, that they can be strong. The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away(if you are a religious man), if only we knew why.
