My first attempt

    Been wanting to do my own oil pan /sump ...not much different than TAs stamped pan but I figured why not...will be baffled hold 2 more qts without getting into the crank I feel sure.

    Will be end of next week b4 it's done around 2 hrs in it so far...

    I have an old school Kenne Bell pickup and extended pan that was on my first 462 motor.. That should do a good job except being a pain to get it past the front crossmember. But,it's doable..Keep posting the progress.

    That's why it's layer back Pat..the corners are what get you....and I may lay them in too...undecided

    Yeq I got a frame in the yard I currently the crossmember down in years ago...this pan is for my GSX so no cutting frames ha

    Make sure you can get a pickup tube the correct length/depth to fit the pan...or expect to fabricate that as well.

    Bottom is done...9/16 bolt...copper seal..two hardened washers

    Step rolled the stiffner on the wrong side....oh well ha
