well it is a long way from its begining to this point but I have to say I love it now that it is done it began as a 1970 bright yellow skylark and now is a 1970 GS 455 clone "what do you think??"

PS Greg B if you have pics of the car before it would be great to see them now!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bill my wifes cousin Eugene Rutherford just north of Mt Airy NC in Virginia did the body work and paint "real nice job" he cut and put in new rear Quarters, striped hood, painted the sport mirrors, took the side body strip off and grinded the studs down, did away with the rear chrome strip around the trunk, drilled holes for the emblems, painted the underside of the trunk, door jams, and so much more the car looks beter then I thought it would I just wanted a driver and told him to just patch the rear quarters but when I got there to pick up the car I saw the yellow quarters on the ground he said " I just cant do this car that way " the interior was done by a man in High Point he put a new top on, redid my seats, died my door panals, recovered the arm rest on the doors and died my boot. he was super cool and did not charge me much at all. The car is in no way a show car it is just a nice daily driver that I can feel good about driving as for the motor I still have the 350 in it and being it runs so good I do not plan on changing it till it gives me a problem and then I most likely will build a 350 and put it back in as I see they are getting some real power out of the 350 on the board I do plan to put 455 stickers under the hood as most people cant tell its a 350 this car is a blast greg I know you miss your car but It did come to a good home Thank you !!!!
