    Ray,
My heart goes out to the family at this time of loss. I am being treated for cancer right now and I can't imagine having to see a 13 year old girl suffer through it. That is very sad. I'm sure that God has a special place for her in heaven as we speak. Prayer is coming from here.

My brother had a daughter die from cancer July 8th 2005, she was 8 years old. It is a difficult time for your friend, I will pray for him.

P.S. Tim how are your treatments going? Well I hope...still praying for you. Hang in there...it must be difficult with what you have been through...praying for the best outcome.

    cancer

My wifes mother, cousin, and now cousins wife have battled this all in the last 6 years and it is very hard on the families as well as the person my prayers are with your friend and there family

Peggy My wifes mother lost her battle with cancer 5 years ago.
Christy my wifes cousin is doing great and enjoying every day with her little girl
Linda my wifes cousins wife is just begining her battle her first treatment was this week and god willing she will beat this dreaded cancer

so many people know someone with this and it has hurt so many I pray one day they will find a cure for this and no one will have to suffer though this kind of pain

I saw a study back in College Psych class, which pointed out that the death of a child is the single most traumatic event that a person can have, even more than death of a spouse (or an IRS audit or a prison sentence).

Go out of your way to do whatever is possible for your friend. Not just a "if you need anything, call me" offer- be active and support him. This is a life-changing event for him.

I will pray for all of the survivors.

Ray, right now the words won't come to me. I hope that they will soon. :ball:

As bobc455 said, be there for your friend, even if he says he's OK.

    Wow.....

Hard as it is to imagine, one day God is going to explain to us all these things that we can see no purpose for. I have already said a prayer for her family that they will feel His comfort through this. God is faithful to answer the prayers of His followers.

Last week I lost one of my close friends , my body and paint guy Ted. He was 48, no warning, anurism....*poof* gone. Was at his shop practically daily since I quit drinking 9 months ago, one of the nicest people you ever met, a die hard GM guy, devoted husband, expert restorer, and MY friend.

All I have been doing since wednsday is praying, I would be happy to pray for your friend and his daughter..

They keep telling me its Gods plan not mine...I have to remind myself of that several times a day lately.

    God bless
    Gary

We lost my little brother to cancer in '82.
There is nothing more heartbreaking than a sick child.
My prayers go out to this family. May God give them the peace that passes all understanding.

    Tim,
    Still praying for you.
