Bought this two weeks ago in Evansville IN and it arrived on Saturday. Shout out to Rusty Davenport and his son for dropping everything to inspect it for me. Also thanks to Cristina at Uberhaul transport for getting it here so quickly. I bought it from the third owner, he bought it in the late 80’s and had it restored in the late 90’s. Drove it a few times a year for the last 25 years, amassing about 2k miles. Needs a real deep cleaning / detailing and hasn’t had a tune up since 2000 or so, but I know guys who can help with that, lol. More pics tomorrow after I resize them.
I was half expecting a knock on the shop door last weekend. I will be around all weekend, or evenings during the week, just let me know. And I can give you back the cane and walker. :>)
Might have time this coming weekend , depending on what we do. You know us retired guys keep pretty busy Sure you don’t want to keep cane/ walker your not getting any younger
Thats my win the lottery car. Love the look and color I have never been in one but maybe I can get a ride in one at the Nationals this year.
Mine is a '66 like the one I had/sold. I don't need quite as big a lottery win as you. Sure would be awesome to have a nice Riv GS display @ the Nationals!
I recognize the look in that woman's eye off to the side of the Riv. I think my wife and daughters have given me that look more than once...
