Not me in the pic,,,a friend who helped me out when I needed a hand!!! Don't mind the dust,,,i've been collecting it for 7 years!!!!
Way to go Chris, beautiful car. Will you be going to Waterdown or Ancaster shows? I would love to meet up with you and John. Cheers, Gary
Thanks guys!!! I've been tinkering on this thing for 7 years or so,,,,have a list of modifications/changes I've made that's a mile long!!! I'll list them sometime when I get a spare hour or so!!!! The wheels are 17X8 all around,,,5"BS on the fronts with 245/45's,,,,the rears have a 5"BS with 255/50's on them,,,stock width rear axle!!!! Chris
Thanks Mr!!! Its not an original color,,,its a ppg color,,,they have no specific name for it,,,there's some metallic in it,,,and just a touch of pearl,,,,hope I never have to touch it up!!! lol
Lol!!! Thanks!!! It does need a bath pretty bad,,,the water at the shop where I'm at sucks,,,,thered be hard water spots everywhere,,,,I'm taking it to the guy that does my exhaust this week,,,I'll stop by the u-wash in town,,,,and give it the douche it deserves!!!! Then I'll post a pic of it not looking so "dirty"!!!! Chris
They're a different generation of automotive styling....boxier than the later 68-up. I like the 65's, but I like the 66's better:grin: The 65 taillights are the coolest ever!.....Buick should've stuck with them in the following years. Great looking car Chris! I like how you cleaned up the look by removing the side trim. SWEET!:TU:
:TU:Nice...very nice....:kodak: Good to see some guys from down east that have some class..... Nice job Chris...
Not a problem at all!! Unless you are referring to my 'addiction' to having a half-dozen Buicks! ... But then I see you have the same 'problem'. p Is there a support group for 'Buicks Anonomous". ......oh wait.....THIS IS the place!:beers2:
So freaking true my friend! I say buy em all!! And I DO need to get me a 66. It's the second coolest Buick.lol.
uh, I resemble that remark :beers2: Slick 65 looking freekin' awesome. I really like the wheels, always wondered how they would look with grey in the webbing background :eek2:
Nice!!! I love the `65 Skylarks........Obviously It looks like a reflection of a CD on the dash in one of the pics. You wouldn't be able to do that down here :bglasses: Bill
Good eyes!!!:bglasses: I only had the car out for some pics,,,,on a hot summer day up here we wouldn't get away with it too long either!!! Thanks for all the compliments guys!!! Gotta work a few bugs out of it,,,and hope to meet some of you at some Buick shows!!!! Chris
