My '64 restoration

    Well I made it a little farther in my restoration project. I was slowed way down most of the summer with a heart issue but I'm back at full capacity now and got to it last weekend. Sorry for the phone cam picture but you get the idea.

    The frame looks to be very straight and solid. I'm going to box it all in and do the rear end control arms as well. I think I'm going to have it blasted next spring and powdercoated. I was talking with a local bodyshop owner and he did that for his '55 Chevy project because it was a lot cheaper than painting it. I'm also planning on coating the insides with the rust preventative stuff I've seen people talk about.

    Updated brakes and a possible rear end swap are also in the plans. This will make it so much easier (pulling the body off) to redo everything, I wish I had done that on my other cars years ago.

    This is actually pretty cool for me, I've never taken a body off before. There sure isn't much to these frames.
