LOL, nothing new here to report, no heads for me till after 1st of the year Been wrenching on the dailys, Tahoe done, van to go yet
I know that Ta claims that in the product description but I called them a few weeks ago to try and get more info on how they came to that conclusion. I was speaking with Tim. The only product testing that they ever did with the sp3 was on a rollerized, highly built, high compression 350 that made over 400hp. Tim told me in his opinion I would gain alot of low end torque with the dual plane and low speed drivability should improve as well. The only way I can get my car to run good is with an extremly rich idle. Car is basically dumping fuel out the exhaust. Eye watering and eye burning rich. Only way to get a good launch is with a 50cc accelerator pump...this is not the setup a guy wants for a street car.
Nothing to report as of yet, because I've been just enjoying driving it. It was down for over 2 years. That and I'm taking a short summer break on spending money. The issue is still intermittent. If I shift manually I can hit the rev limiter (almost) every time without hesitation. Auto shift still hits the bog between 4-5k. Fuel gauge test shows good (6lb) until the WOT stumble, then drops to 2psi. Future plans may include: Replacing all rubber fuel lines Upgrade sending unit to 1/2" RobbMc Pump or electric Mart's Holley carb Was hoping to get some feedback from Mark since he put his quad back on
We both got tickets to the Woodward Dream Show at M1 Concourse for Fri and Sat. There's a possibility we both may be stopped at the same light.
