It is a 75 Century with approx 66,000 ( original I'm told ) miles on it. Original body and paint. Needs paint as there are rust spots coming through. It's not what I had intended to buy, but after traveling countless hours and look at cars that looked good on the outside but reveled there true selves once on a hoist this one turned out not so bad. It has good and solid frame, and floors. A quick walk around: Bottom of drivers door: Bottom of passenger door: Unfortunately the passenger door is trash. I did however save a door from a parts car that will hopefully be able to take its place. Dash: The previous owner for some reason startes to paint the dash black. Worst of the rust so far found: My plans are to refresh a motor from a 73 Century (parts car) that is supposed to have only 35,000 miles on it. Get the body blasted and painted. I am switching the front header panel and bumper to a 73 model, because I think the 75's are ugly. I would like to add tilt steering, bucket seats and a console in time. The car came with a dual exhaust kit, that was never put on and all the reproduction fillers from replica-plastics.com that were never installed. I have a few more pics to post, but am having trouble resizing them. More to come later.
Here are a few more pics. Engine: I am a bit worried about what I will find hiding under that battery tray. Front floor boards: Not bad for being from the Great White Salty North. Here is a before and after pic of repainting the inside of the front parking/signal light housings.
