I'm getting ready to order a mandrel bent x pipe exhaust system and will need a good exhaust shop in the Long Island, NY area to do the installation / welding. Not looking for a shop like meineke who butchered my very expensive exhaust pipes. I'd much prefer a specialty performance type of place. Can anyone make a recommendation? Allen allioop108@aol.com
Joe at J&B in Rockville Centre custom mandrel bends exhaust systems and installs them on all kinds of classics from the 40's, 50's 60' and 70's as well as the modern performance cars. Off of Sunrise Highway on North Park Ave, 516 536 5677 Part of "Mouth Racing" team. Has a few 9 second cars to his credit. Real nice 66 Olds F-85.
somebody asked about this a couple of weeks ago, do a search. I heard great things about Cooks, although they may be in the process of moving. A few guys here use them. Don't go to american muffler.
