Compiled these numbers from 13 Buick road tests from various mags (65-70) may be useful FWIW 2:78=27.1mph 2:93=26.0 3:23=24.0 3:36=23.0/22.6/22.2=AVG=22.6 3:42=23.7/23.3/22.6=AVG=23.2 3:55=21.4 3:64=21.0 My favorite! 3:90=19.5/19.0 This covers 4spd/Turbo hydros/14" and 15" tire mixes so I am not preaching GOSPEL just reporting what was out there! my 74 convertible goes 45 mph @ 1000 rpm. email me at buickragtop74@yahoo.com and i will send you my GEARDADDY spreadsheet. i made it to play with different gear ratios, tranny gears, tire sizes, wheel sizes to compare differences in rpm and mph with different combinations. also on the sheet is some other stuff like figuring concrete for a project and there is one for hydraulic force and fluid volumes .. put "geardaddy" in the subject line of your email.
