what can i do to increase the gas milage on my 84 riv? right now, i average around 19 on the freeway and around 12 in town. someone told me that there is some sort of electricly controled thing on the carb that doubles the fuel going in at idle or cruise. how do i kill that? thank you once again.

I used to get 15 around town and ~22 with my '85 riv with the 307... never had to do anything to it... I even ran 87 octane.

you'll have nothing more to add?

    i resemble that remark...

having never been to minnesota, i can't say whether we alabamians are worse, but there are some real rednecks here, i mean deliverance style... :eek2:

btw, i get about 9mpg in my 68 special 350-2, but i need to tune up my engine too...
