Yes, we have made the decision to relocate to a warmer climate about a year from now, when my oldest graduates from HS. My 68 has been a fun ride since I bought it right after 9/11, but it's not a good fit for where we'll be moving, so I'd prefer to sell now and shop for a convertible later on, instead of moving it halfway across the country. At this point I'm listing links to the car, boat and camper below. Asking $9k for the car, $34k for the camper, and $21k for the boat. Car and boat are in Fargo, camper is located on Shell Lake in MN, at a small beautiful quiet resort, 2015 season is paid for. Maybe one of our MN members is looking for a lake spot ready to enjoy? :Brow: Car and camper are OBO, boat is firm at this point. Car has had Mark Lob's low-mile, mild rebuilt 455 installed, the TH350 has been rebuilt to handle a mild BBB, new chromoly driveshaft installed, drive shaft loop installed, needs a little adjustment, new alum Griffin radiator, engine bay stripped out and sprayed. Hood, front grill and surround still need reinstalled when I can find time. :Do No:

Not to say on how to run your sale, but perhaps an ultimate (approximate) destination could help with the sale of the Buick? Maybe someone at/near the end of your eventual destination could be enticed? I'm not interested, I have enough vehicles, as it is, but just sayin'.

Where are you planning to relocate?

Not a good fit for where you're moving? Where is this place where people do not enjoy a good running Buick? Washington, DC?

We are planning on the Phoenix area, Gilbert AZ specifically. The 68 is a hardtop, no A/C, and black interior.

Aha! That makes more sense. I will tell you though, the 71 GS clone I sold was a triple black convertible, and I drove it all through one of our most hottest, driest summers. I'd sworn I'd never have a drop top with a black interior, but I really fell into the car. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, no worse than my 72 Pontiac with a tan interior. I've since given up my "no black interior " rule. If you dig the car, you might want to try it down there before you sell. If the AC thing is a deal breaker, then I get it.

I used to live in Arizona. My advice....keep the boat. A lot of man made lakes in AZ. You'll use the boat more there then in Fargo. Good luck you'll love AZ.

I'm really looking to simplify the move, already have too many "things". The boat will come with us if it has to, but I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a boat to buy in AZ later. :) I really don't want to take the car along though. It will sell if I get a reasonable offer. Maybe even an unreasonable offer... I've lost interest in this particular Buick, and I can't really say it has a lot of sentimental value.

That 455 was in my 69 convertible while the original engine was out being rebuilt. It truly was a great running engine, pulled nicely thru the gears, idled as smooth as silk and ran nice and cool. Definitely one of the best ones I have owned.

David, the best of luck to you in this relocation :TU:

I didn't see any photos in the car ad on Craigslist. Interested in seeing some.

Yes, I do need to get some pics taken. I lost all my car pictures in a computer upgrade a while back, but will search again too. I need to get my boat out of the way so I can get the car out of the garage for decent pics. Will try hard to get it done this week.

I have to add also, I have a local interested party for the car, who is first in line.

A note regarding car pictures... I will try to get this done tonight. When I have pics they will be posted here, rather than emailing to everyone who asks for pics. :TU:

By the way, the camper is tentatively sold.

Lots 'o pics... No under body shots yet, would help if I had a lift. But I'll get it jacked up and shoot a few, in a day or 2.

I was disappointed to find a small piece of chrome is flaking off the lower left of the front bumper, shown in picture. Both front and rear bumpers had been rechromed. The driver seat also has a seam coming apart. Again, I have a new Legendary white front seat cover that was going to be the start of changing the interior to white.

I managed several under body pics last night before my floor jack puked all over the floor, but haven't found time to resize and post yet. Maybe if I get home at a reasonable time tonight it will happen.
