Did you notice they do the chase out of sequence or use better identical cars? The cars get less damaged before they get back on the freeway (especially the Buick)
It's a damn shame they had to wreck that '64 Wildcat in that clip. The Mustang and the 4dr. Special, meh....oh well. BTW.....was that a "Mach 1" being chased?
Well, they painted the front bumper to try to look like one, but no.......Just a Sportsroof. I can't see the bumpers or the grille very well, but with those aluminum slots, it's most likely a '73 (factory aluminum slots only on the '73, and they had their own one year only grille/marker lamps and bigger, uglier safety bumpers.).
