Batteries are like many other things we buy...many brands, few makers. And, for those who have had good luck with their old brands, most likely those are now from different places/makers. For my drivers, I buy most CCA for the money...and have always had good luck. For my garage queen Buicks, I use Delcos to keep it in the family... Sounds like OP has electrical issue or loose battery...not securing battery to tray will cause early failure...
Exactly my point!:beers2: As a former battery/tire installer, I've replaced more batteries in customer's vehicles than I ever cared to, but comparing batteries from the '70s/'80's to today's batteries, QUALITY has gone downhill, and you don't get what you pay for, anymore! Trying to decide on a battery brand of today, when you can't even trust a battery to last for even 1 year, when they are supposed to have a 5 year life, just makes it less encouraging to continue to buy more batteries for what you pay for them, already knowing not to expect too much from them, until you can be sure of a brand or type that you can trust to prove itself as dependable!
