Dave called me this week and he is just finishing up his first set of new reproduced brake and clutch pedals for Buick 4-speeds(68-72 Skylark/GS). The pedals are original layout and maintain the superb quality of Keiner standards. The metal stock is slightly thicker than stock and expected to have excellent strength.

I have not seen them yet & have no pricing info.

Dave has promised a few pics & will post them as soon as I get em.

Hmmm, I am super impressed for one - soon we will have access to all 4-speed parts in quality reproductions. I know just how hard it has been to track down good orignal parts. Hats off to Dave!!

Yes hats off to Dave for his dedication to the buick community. Personally I like the quality of the parts when an individual like Dave makes them as opposed to the large companies, not that I don't appreciate their effort but it seems that when someone like Dave does it, he is not trying to make a universal part to fit all the gm A bodies but the correct partfor one specific car. When I read about his feedback from other people I have no hesitations on buying his product. When I catalog order something from a big firm you better believe I do my homework and or post questions before buying. So my thanks not only to Dave but to all the others who are taking the time and effort to make buick restorations not as difficult as it could be. Also thanks to all the knowledgeable board members who take the time to educate, post pics and offer advice for some of less informed members.

Last time I talked to Dave the only part he had to finish repoping was the shifter lever. Is there any update as to when this shift lever and the rest of the package will be done???

Andrew - I posted that info here:

Dave does not plan on maknig the Nats this year but will be at the Indy meet - hopefully with the handles on display. The other good news is that he is going to do both styles.

Dave is becoming a one-stop shop for Buick 4-speed setups!

That's great that the pedals are of thicker metal. My stock clutch pedal once broke and I had to drive home in traffic without benefit of having a clutch! Paul
