    Yep

    :( :af: :blast:

There is no changing the minds of these brain washed, terrorist murderers, and exterminating them seems to be the only solution. It is time to quit screwing around with them. Give them a quick trial, if found guilty of terrorism, hang um HIGH. :Smarty: :blast:

I just read an account where a man carrying a backpack had a minor explosion, after which he indicated something went wrong. Apparently, the device did not function properly. This was at one of the sites (four in total). They are not reporting an casualties yet, but it's probably too soon to know.

How long can it be before we see this sort of terrorism in NYC, LA, Chicago, etc? I agree, Dan, there's no stopping the brainwashed. My daughter is going to NYC this saturday, that doesn't make me real comfortable.

I think there is a very good chance we already got him (Osama), :TU: and they don't want to let it out. It gives us a good reason to stay there and fight & kill the remaining terrorists :Smarty:

    They wonder why, I know.

It didn't take but a few days for the news from London to say it was the fault of joining America and Bush in the war that got them attacked.

    The terrorist liked that.

So they did another quick attack to try and get that talk going again.

That is what the terrorist want. To make everyone waiver and 2nd guess our actions.

London press is playing right into their hands.

I find it funny how easily Europe in general forgets our sacrifice in WW1 & WW2. As there only thought is poor me and start looking for someone to blame.
But blaming the wrong people on purpose to satisfy the attackers, in hopes to get on their good side. Shows great weakness. And why we even had 2 WW.

Though I realize the news reports that bring up my / these feelings may not be 100% right.

What normal people think is always different then what the news media reports to entertain and turn a profit.

I hope I did not offend anyone. That was not my intentions.

  11. It wouldn't really matter if we caught him or not. If we did, someone else will take his place. It's not a matter of eliminating a few people, it's erradicating an entire way of thinking, and that'll never happen. And besides, we haven't done a very good job of killing the "remaining" terrorists, because if we were, London probably wouldn't be getting blown up.

Its not anything more than a religious war to them. As soon as we all figure that out, then and only then will we be able to fight to win. Until the US figures this out it will be just like Veitnam, the politicians will try to run the war.

    I disagree wantahertzdonut...

We (the USA) have been killing FAR more of them (the terrorists) compared to the ones we have been losing. It just hurts to see anyone, whether in the service or a civilian, lose their life. :(

What do you suggest Jim, peace talks?

    Really James ??
Is that what they said ?

    Ridiculous !!!

We all know that this is just a group of people with a thing against London Transport,
this happens when your tube and busses aren't running on time.

    :blast: :blast: :blast: [IMG]

Yeah, that's what you get with press in a real free country: sometimes they just publish what the rest of the world is thinking........
But I'm sure that you, in all your wisdom, wrote some letters to the British newspapers to tell them what the real deal is here. :Smarty:

Don't worry too much about that James :TU:

Hmmm......I would say that if the terrorist had a malfunction with his bomb,I would say that we would have a malfunction with trying to protect him and kill him instead. All these idiots want to do is destroy everything that is good.

I would say one way to kill these idiots is to tie them onto a run away horse and let them get mutilated-this way they won't die a martyrs death and die inhumanely instead.

We're just going to rant and rave but that's about it! We are always protecting ourselfs and other people, when are we going to start doing something. What we need is another 'George S Patton' or someone with balls and no tolerance for such behavior. We dropped two atomic bombs on Japan, but we can't do nothing about these terroists?! Where the hell are the bombs that my tax dollars paid for?! And why aren't we dropping a few on these idiots! See if they knew for sure, that if they mess with us or our alise that we would drop a bomb on them they would probably think twice about messing with us. But all we do is talk politics, FT! It's time for action, and I don't mean sending ours boys overthere to die either!

I agree a lot with what you guys are saying. It is just amazing to me that it takes what the media calls a "high risk level" to up the security that should already be in place, whether in the U.S. or Europe. How many people have to die before we realize the risk level needs to be on high period! Until this thing is....., well I am not going to say it because I don't think it will ever be completly over. The whole religion war will also show it's horrible face.
We have since the Revolutionary War based our country here on the people, and it doesn't seem as though our fathers of today are taking care of this concept very well. Don't get me wrong I voted for Bush myself, but he has his faults just like any president has. It is only a matter of time before we get hit hard again here in the U.S. I mean realisticly, how long have we been letting these folks into our country on a Visa or whatever? One thing I believe would be of great importance in today's times is the U.S Patriot Act. We need to have the ability no matter what to go after those who we believe are involved in terrorist attacks. Any way we look at it we are going to lose our own people in warfare, its just how we can minimize the casualties and accomplish our war of conquest. Sh^% has been hitting the fan for many centuries, it would be nice for us 8 to come together and try and get this under some kind of control so we can feel safe from terrorism on our own turf.
And last of all this always seems to work well..
:Smarty:  :af: :blast: :jd: SHOCK AND AAWWWWW!!!!!!

  18. We CAN'T just go around nuking everyone we see. Killing indescrimently would make us no better than they are. The other thing is the extremests are only a fraction of the population. Killing 1000 to get 1 isn't right no matter what. I say this because I met plenty of good people from the middle east who are now citizens of the US. Good people I call my friends. Going around nuking their homeland is only going to breed anger over here, and that won't help anything.

Now before you jump on my back and think I'm one for "peace talks" I'll say this. I fully support persuing terrorists and their networks. However, the way we've been going about doing this is the equivalent of trying to kill a fly with a cannon. It's easy for them to blend in to the general population and hide from a massive army. We're dealing with a bunch of cowards here and they'll only jump out when they need to.

If we really want to persue terrorists, we need to send in small groups of properly equipped and properly trained soldiers, attack the camps, attack the weapons stores, go into the caves where they're hiding, etc. In other words go after them where they're really hiding and hit them where it hurts. And hard. We should not give them a big target (US troops in bases, convoys, etc) and wait for them to come out and attack us as they're doing in Iraq. We have spy satelites, we have intelligence (I hope), but based on our track record so far it seems like we're not using any of that to its potential. We need to fight fire with fire, and attack them when they're not expecting it, in places they wouldn't expect us to be.

Interesting thought.........but how do you recognize the terrorists ?
I'm sure they're also living in the USA, so you're thinking about dropping a bomb on your own country ?

The hard part is that it isn't an entire religion, just a small (comparitively) faction. There are extremeist christians too, remember Waco? The Ku Klux Klan? There are a lot of them. Granted, they haven't been killing people in a while (that we know of, anyway), but they are still out there. Who knows if they're not plotting anything.

And yes, I am a Christian. I also happen to live in a part of New York State where there are known large groups of these negative factions. The hard part is, Do we kill all Muslims to stop the bad factions? Do we kill all Christians to stop the bad factions? Do we kill all kids to stop kids from killing each other?

I think we're doing what we need to do, although I would like to see some more support from countries around the world - especially those who are being attacked themselves - but thats an issue that is far out of my league to deal with.

Not trying to pick on anyone in particular, just the first thing that came to mind.

But then again, Politics (and I consider this that) is banned from the board and the quickest way to lose friends, so I hope I havent breached either line here
