Once again, this old nailhead continues to suprise me :TU:

I was out cruising the Carlisle Pike this weekend. It was packed, thanks to Corvettes at Carlisle being in town. There were more locals in rice, stangs, and other makes of GM cars there than vettes cruising, especially after 10PM (Yuppie's bed time lol).

I got up to a redlight next to this late model celica. It had the obligatory fart can, shopping-cart-handle wing, riced-out tail lights, etc.

There's some "large" chick in the driver's seat, and she didn't make eye contact, she was just staring at the light. I dropped the 'ole switch pitch down into L1, and waited for the light. I let the celica take the jump, then I laid into it. The nailhead roared to life and the entire land-barge surged as it began to overtake the little rice burner. By the time I was at 60 MPH, I had between 2 and 3 electra-lengths on toyota's finest. I pulled over into the right lane and slow back to a nice-and-legal 40 MPH, only to notice that celica girl is trying to pull a ricer fly-by. I drop the electra back into L1 and mash the throttle. By the time I was to 50 MPH and shifting into L2, we were dead even, and I started pulling ahead once again. I kept in it till 70 MPH to make sure celica girl learned her lesson!

She drove past after a few more stoplights and gave me the finger and yelled a few expletives out the window at me and my three 200lb passengers (Race weight that nite was about 5400 lbs :bglasses: ) You gotta love the courtosy of the ricer contingent!

Remember those bumper stickers from the early '80s that said "No fat chicks"? I'd like to find one for my old beater, but they look better on an old Camaro. Dan
