I know about the carb and rear axle housing. I have also been told about alternators,and recently,distributors.My ? is where on the alt and dist are these codes,and are there any others ?
Voltage regulators, core support by year at least, hose clamps, battery and most everything. The real question is what is not. The alt code is right on top as it sits in the car and the dist code is right after the part number on the rim.
