I was wondering if that was your car, Moon. Looks really nice.

Ryans-GSX Have fun, life is short.

I saw that pop up and thought that was a good deal on a well documented Stage1. It will be interesting to see how quick it sells and to who.

The trim tag shows 14-14 for the paint code which is silver mist in 1972.

    Car has been sold 12-19-2019.
I would have bought that car back in a heartbeat but I just don't have anymore room.

Wadda mean no room?! Kick out that old furniture from the living room and roll that baby in its place. What? You scared of the little lady? Grow some moon!!

I just found out that my old Stage1 didn't go to anyone in the Buick community, but unfortunately it went to a dealer flipper.
Should be interesting to see how much more the flipper will ask for this valuable (with much paperwork) real deal Stage1.
I guess anyone can sell to who ever they want, but this is a bit disturbing as the prior owner was a V8 Buick board member.

When I had it up for sale I turned down such a situation twice and took less to give it a good home with a Buick guy.
Oh well, to each his own.

That is a shame, I really wanted to buy it off you when you had it for sale on here but that other guy beat me too it. It would still be in my garage if I had bought it. It is a real shame because I bet there were plenty of Buick guys, including me, that would have bought that car off him. I see that the Facebook post has gone.

As caretake of that wonderful car, which I myself chased down for 3 years before the owner would let it go, I did my best to make sure it went to a Buick guy even taking less to accomplish that quest. My buyer was thrilled with the deal and assured me that he was going to restore the car back to it's 14-14 Silver Mist original color .

I had that car for about 20 years and beside the color change it needed nothing. It was a totally rust free, rebuilt motor trans and rear car when I bought it. It was always garaged, expertly maintained and was a extremely strong performer that I only put 9,000 miles on over the 20 years of my ownership. The car looked exactly the same as when I bought it. It was and always was a well cared for original gem.

I had hoped it would remain in the Buick community but that was not under my control. Too bad.

I agree with you Ron, I did enjoy the chat that we had over the phone, I was very impressed with the way that you had maintained and looked after the car for all those years.
This car has always been at the back of my mind since that conversation.

Does anyone know how to blow up the picture of the window stickers to make it legible?
