Hey guys, I will not sell a USED 3 series or really any used Posi unit with out going through it totally.
Reconditioned we sell. I will PM you a price.

If I price it on the site and years go by people want it for the old prices...LOL. :) Jim

I looked at your website and it appeared from your notes that your email addresses have been hijacked so I thought I would go through the forum to ask you a question.

I own a 1972 Stage 1 automatic. Years ago I sold the factory 10 bolt rear end and substituted in a 12 bolt with hardened axles. After drag racing the car for 35 years I am now seeking some parts to make the car stock again; specifically a 10 bolt posi with a 3.42 gear.

Do you have a code matching rear end? Since I am completely ignorant about such matters, what code(s) should I be looking for and where are they located should I happen to run across a rear end?

Thanks for your help; I see from the numerous posts that you have helped out a lot of guys.

No Number matching 3.42 rears. Sorry. We just buy basic cores ...We rarely get lucky anymore and get a GS or W30 optional rear in one piece. :)

I really do not think too many shows will start looking at codes on tubes till the very end of the competition and if you BOTH are that close to perfection...YOUR both winners. :) Jim

    FastDave,
Where you over the winter? I had a show-quality restored 8.5" 10-bolt,3:42,LBW code, from a 71-72 GS. I didn't have much interest on here, and it ended up in a 70 Cutlass. It even had the original trishield drums.
