Hi Dave, and welcome to the board.

When you say needs everything, are we talking ALL sheetmetal (hood, quarters, fenders, doors, floors, trunk)? How's the stainless trim and chrome? Interior? Grille? Any pictures you can post?

What are your intentions? Driver? Concours? Again, depending on what it needs, a driver will probably run you about 30K-40K, depending on how much work you do yourself. Councours? - Well, lets just say you could start at 75K and go up from there. Right now, these cars are valued about 75% of the restoration costs, so you may not get your money out of it if you sell - please keep that in mind.

I run a Stage1 registry, trying to document the surviving cars. Please consider registering your car. Details can be found at www.stage1registry.com

    Thanks!

    Hi Dave!
We've got to get over to your house one of these days. How did you do in the third round 2 weeks ago? Did you go last weekend? Whether you sell the car or not depends on how much you jing you want to spend and how much you want an original Stage 1. I suppose you could get around 6K for it on eBay the way it sits, it will probably cost at least 12K to get it street worthy from the sounds of it. Did you try to start it up yet? I dunno, to me (El Cheapo Lazy Head) I would sell it and use the money towards one that is already done.

    Hi Connie,

I broke out on the 3rd round. I'm getting there! No races last weekend. Rainout. Did you go to Chicago for the Drags? We thought we seen the son on T.V. Did you go up last Wed? How'd you do? We're planning on being there this weekend.
    Dave
