Is anyone her participating in "Mo-vember?" I know the month of November is now over, it's 12:03 a.m. of December 1st as I write this. I am a teacher at a small elementary school in Ontario (approx. 315 Grade JK to 8 students). We have six men on staff including our Principal and Custodian. Our Principal has had his mustache for at least 18 years, (I've know him for at least that long and have never seen him without his "caterpillar").

Anyway, he had the idea of joining in "Mo-vember," but since he already had a mustache, he thought he would grow a beard for the month instead of the mustache. He asked the rest of us if we would like to join him and each throw $20 into a pot and donate it to prostate cancer research. Most of the other men have wives who do not approve of mustaches, so a beard was more do-able on the home front. (My wife likes neither idea, but really likes my goatee, which I have worn since before we met six years ago.

Anyhoo, the idea spread throughout the school, and momentum grew (ha, ha) as our beards did. Our Principal then gave the school a challenge. If they could raise $300 over and above what the six participants donated, then he would not only shave off the beard, he would also remove his mustache as well. Well, as of this morning, the school raised over $500 dollars. Now, he will have his mustache shaved off on stage in front of the entire student body on Friday.

I enter this rather long-winded piece as the beginning to see if anyone else on the board grew a "mo" for "Mo-vember."

Attached is a photo me "Handsome Brad" :bla: in my "Mo-vember" beard.
