Got an offer on my '70 225. But...the sale is pending on me getting the cruise fixed. The button on the end of the turn signal is missing. Do I need just a button? Or do I have to replace the whole turn signal stalk? Any good places to get these parts? Or to get them fixed? Help?!? David

Dave, You will have to find the whole thing to repair it . It's one unit. Pull the wheel and ........................................... Give the guy 50.00 and tell em it's a EZ fix :Do No: Bruce ( p/s -Got Bricks ??) LOL Ya better take them out of your trunk so you don't kill your gas mileage in the Metro !!:beer :TU:

There was a guy out there in the swap area selling one for $45. I put it down and walked away. It was NOS though. Nice piece. Just not something I am ready to spend my money on.

is this what you are looking for?
it came in a box of parts that i bought.
this is off of a 74 lesabre. has slight surface rust on the shaft. the tiny rust specs would probably easily polish out.
i tested it with a fluke meter and the contacts still work fine.
if you want it, i will mail it to you and you can mail whatever you think it is worth. no problem.

THanks for the offer Yuk...somebody told me that the cruise button for a '70 is specific to that year...I'll have to check and see if the '74 version can be used. I"m thinking maybe I'll see if this guy will let me fix something else on the car instead! David

Does anyone know if the cruise components for a '70 Riv are the same as for the full size cars from the same year? David

I probably got one in my garage from a full-size 69, but I won't get there til Saturday. Let me know if you are still interested. No promises, though -- never know what has gone missing.

Hi Steve- Yes, I'd be interested-is the cruise button/turn signal lever for '69 and '70 the same part?

I am not certain, but I think it is, just from having seem them in the junkyards over the years. The 69s and 70s have essentially the same column, which is different from the 68s and, I believe, the 71s and up.

    If I have it -- freebie. If I don't -- hey, that's free too.
