    Murphy Just Getting Started

Last Friday I heard about a farm auction that was in Holmer NY on the next day ( Saturday) There was a 1963 Buick there that had 30,000 original miles on it. I couldn't make it to the auction that day, I had to work. It was too short notice for me to get anyone to go there for me. This afternoon I was talking to a local farmer that went to the auction. She said the car was in really good shape, and did say 30,000 on the odometer. I asked her how much it brought, she said only $ 1900 :af: I wish I could have gone to the sale. I don't know much details about the car, but for only $1900 it's still a deal.:jd:

Sorry to hear it. Missed deal for me this week also. Local paper has had a complete rebuilt dual quad 425 in it for months. Started out at $4500, then $3500, then $3000, and finally reached the term of decent offer with no actual dollar amount. So, last week I called and was planning on making the woman an offer of around $2000. But, before I could make the offer, she told me whe had to have $3500. I never called back. So, today my father called her to make an offer. She sold it today for $1500!!! Now why didn't she make me the same offer last week???
