Joe...thats all???? You spent 6 hours there and only took 3 pics??? C'mon man....share em all!!! The X-Gang was sure good lookin....bet ya had fun...i know they said the track temp at Milan was 139 degrees...was friggin hot! Hope you guys kept cool!
Riv was parked waaaaayyyyy back, in the parking lot in the early morning. By midday, that hole area was totally filled with cars. He got sorounded. A Buick Century.
Dave, Like the X gang handle. Sorry did not get to talk to much to anyone or meet Joe. Their cars are really nice. I did see another X besides ours but that one missed out on the group pic. We left about one, was a nice show but hot on the blacktop. Next time need to get there early enough to get on the entrance road with some trees. Here is mine with Joes 72 in back.
Thanks Joe -N- Doug....i have been to Bakers a few times...and have seen the grassy area up on the hill full....that place must be able to hold 2,000 cars. Thanks for the extra shots....did they say how many Car Craft cars there were? A friend of mine was there with his 49 ford..black with a nice flame job. Havent talked to him yet. LATER!! :3gears:
Does that mean you made it to the track today? Are you at home putting on head gaskets now? How'd you do? o No:
Hey John, Wire harness, seats, console, carpet, dash, all in now :TU: . Josh says he's ready for your belts. Talk too ya soon, Joe X.
Yup!! Yup, i actually did, havent been since BG. Changed gas...i AM NOT USING TURBO-BLUE AGAIN, and i pitty anyone who does....it is the reason for my head gasket failure...many have had same problems. I loaded the car up with C-12.....plugs were too cold...too fat on the jets...didnt have enough time to tune b-4 elims...went out in 2nd round car stumbled all the way -CHOKING GAGGING...SPITTING ....WAS UGLY!!! Carb is at my carb guys tank....will get it back Friday...not using C-12...too hard to tune...AND TOO EXPENSIVE..will use Torco...good M/R octane...Specific altitude not much higher than C-12. Will do better next time...promise!!! :spank:
See Dave, you should have came to the car show instead. Look closely at the first photo. You'll see a Saturn Yellow car behind the Cortez Gold car on the left, and a Cortez Gold car behind the Saturn Yellow car on the right. Sort of a Buick checker board look, to cool! Joe X.
