I went to the barn to fire up the T-type and I noticed that it was quite damp in the car. I guess its from condensation. Stupid me forgot to crack the windows. Anyways, I noticed that I have mildew on my seatbelts and on some parts of the rug. There's also some on the center console and the steering wheel. I'm not as concerned about the steering wheel and the console as I am about the cloth parts. How do I get this stuff off with out fading or staining the belts and carpet? I did a search and it just left some open questions for me. I might try vineger in an out of sight area. What else might be good? I don't want to tear apart the car to deal with this, so soaking in whatever product won't be a reality.

Joe - I have used Round-up to kill it, then just clean with whatever you like.

Once you clean up the mildew, buy a pouch of Zeo Trap by atp. Website,www.atp-inc.com. I use one in the winter in the interior to contol odor and moisture. Works good and lasts FOREVER.:TU:
