Hi to all this is my first post

I just bought a 1970 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible on Sunday

It the 4 barrel 350, AC, believe a 4 spd trans

As for performance the car seems slow. It runs great starts up fine. But It doesn't seem fast enough. Is this car meant to be a sunday cruiser. Or is it a weekend racer. I never planed on buying a car like this but I got a great deal. I love the car so far.

Don't flame me but I always though that buick and chevy motors were the same. But from looking online I guess a buick 350 is different from a chevy 350. What are some major differences if any? Are there any quick bolts ons that could quick boost proformance on a budget.

Not my color choice but I will leave it like that the car looks great in person

Welcome! You will find out as you read and learn that buick engines and chevy engines are totally different from the motor mounts, to torque(buick holds the title for King Of Torque!), to horsepower, and to just about everything is different.

Buick 350 has a longer stroke than the Chevy.
