I would like to paint my floor mats. does anybody know what type of paint I should use? Something that is washable and scrubbable.
I think you'd be much better off finding a set that was the color you wanted. What color are you looking to paint them?
I'd think that your shoes will wear the paint/dye off pretty quickly, but that looks like your best option.
Items that get heavy wear such as seat cushions, floor mats, steering wheels, armrest pads will never hold dye for long. Your best bet is to get new ones and save the originals for shows.
