My neighbor (well, my Dad's neighbor, ny ex-neighbor I guess) just gave me a very detailed matchbox-car sized 1969 Olds 442 Very detailed. Not new. Tires are rubber-like, interior is fairly good, marker and tail lights are painted on, as are all the 442 badges. the paint is a gold metallic- and is automotive paint Made by a company called "High Speed" Anybody know anything about it? Possibly a dealer promo item? It's pretty cool, will post pics when I get my hands on the camera
My aunt has been giving them to my mother who then gives them to me. I think they are coming from her readers digest subscription. I have the Olds that you are talking about as well as a 55 chevy and a couple of others. I did a quick search on the web but I could not find a vendor..... :beer
The box says "High Speed Metal & Plastic Products Mfg., and made in China Some one gave it to me cause they thought my Skylark was this car. Close, mine is a 71 Buick and has four wheels, was red, now white. Dean
